Many of the same health problems that affect us, including hearing loss, also affect our pets. Fortunately, most pets adapt very well to the disability with a little help from their owners.View Article

It's always the time for travel! Let our staff care for your pet while you are away. Our space fills up fast, especially during the summer and holidays, so call now to schedule a reservation.
Our boarding area contains separate areas for dogs and cats. The majority of dogs are housed in large separate runs which allow more space. There is a divider between the runs that can be raised to allow dogs from the same family to be housed together. We do offer cages for those small dogs that are less than 12 pounds and are overwhelmed in the runs. For the cats, we have condos that allow perching on multiple levels and a scratching post. Three condos also have a small window that look out side.
In our hospital, animals being boarded are fed a premium food. For the dogs we feed IAMS Low Residue food, a prescription diet which supports the digestive tract and helps prevent stress related diarrhea. The cats are fed IAMS Premium Protection food. Owners are welcome to bring in their pets regular diet, and it's encouraged for animals on a prescription diet or food allergy related diets. We ask that owners please pre bag each feeding to help out our boarding technician. We do not have food for birds, rabbits, ferrets, etc.
Boarding takes your animal out of their regular surroundings and this can be stressful. For this reason, owners are welcome to bring in bedding and toys that will make their stay more comfortable. We ask that any bedding brought is easily washed in a regular sized washer and dryer.
For the safety of all the animals that come in to be boarded, we require certain vaccinations be up-to-date at the time of admission. For those animals that do not receive their vaccines from the Bountiful Animal Hospital, proof of vaccinations from a veterinarian is required. It's recommended that vaccines are brought up-to-date before being boarded for the best protection.
